Whitney has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in school counseling. She is licensed as both a professional school counselor and an associate clinical mental health counselor. Whitney comes from a background of working in education at all grade levels, including higher education, giving her a deep understanding of the pressures and emotional experiences people face at different stages of life. Her favorite modalities include mindfulness, motivational interviewing, person-centered, and CBT. Whitney is passionate about helping teens and adults navigate life's challenges with greater calm, confidence, and self-compassion. She specializes in supporting those experiencing anxiety, grief, and life transitions.
When Whitney is not working, you can expect her to be hanging out with her husband and 3 kids, going to farmers markets or community events, traveling, reading, exploring museums, going to concerts, or trying to learn more history - especially Ogden history.
